Summer’s ‘must-have’ lawn products
FEBRUARY MUST-DOs
1. Apply a pre-emergent for winter weeds
Wintergrass is on the horizon, as soil temperatures drop it emerges in our lawns. So apply a pre-emergent herbicde to prevent it now
Wintergrass >>
Wintergrass is a light green tufted annual weed.
It emerges in lawn in February and March, grows throughout Autumn and Spring before seeding.
It spreads thousands of seeds, so if you though hand weeding them previously was a pain then you’re not going to like what comes this season
Pre-emergents like Spartan and Barricade form a layer in the soil that prevents the seed from becoming a fully grown weed.
2. Kill unwanted grubs
Kill off and protect your lawn against hard to kill grubs!
Solutions for lawn armyworm, African Black beetle and Mole Cricket just to name a few.
Lawn Armyworm >>
Armyworm is on the march, so knock them down and protect against future invasions witht he right product
African Black Beetle Larvae >>
