When and how to use it
When should I use it?
LAWN PLAY PRONTO is a readily available nitrogen that can be used for most of the year. LAWN PLAY PRONTO delivers nitrogen that drives leaf growth. In spring and autumn this is a great product to use to add more density to your lawn. It’s best to use low rates (100ml) in summer as high rates can create lots of mowing. In wInter it is important not to create new leaves as the new growth will be highly susceptible to frost and disease so if you are in a cooler area it’s best to leave it off till spring.

Or simply measure out the amount of product and water you need, you will need 100ml for every 100m2 and we recommend either to calibrate your sprayer or add the product to 5L of water and apply evenly over the whole 100m2
For low rates, the product is absorbed through the leaf so there is no need to water it in. If you choose to use a high rate (200mL+) then it is recommended to water the product so that it rolls off the leaf, especially if temperatures are expected to exceed 25 degrees that day.

How do I get the best results?
The best way to get results from LAWN PLAY PRONTO is to apply on a monthly basis to supplement a detailed lawn care program. It can also be added to Lawn Play Enhance to give the greening element an extra kick and longevity.
How much water should I apply to water in?
This product does have the potential to burn. To avoid this we recommend you apply at the low rate (100mL) for a foliar feed or if used at a higher rate you will be required to water in after application, this is also applicable if temperatures exceed 25 degrees. Don’t worry, you won’t need to get the sprinkler out, simply turn your handheld spray gun on a fan setting and give the lawn a quick twice over, 5 minutes per 100m2 would be sufficient to knock the fertiliser away from the leaf.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
The product has a great safety profile, but it’s still best to allow the product to dry before walking on your lawn. Like most products keep the product container out of reach of children and pets.
Is this safe for all turf types?
It is safe for all turf types and garden plants. Some grass varieties are very hungry and others don’t need much help at all. We recommend using low rates for grasses like Buffalo, Kikuyu, Zoysia and hybrid couch grasses which require less nitrogen input. Other grasses like common couch, Queensland Blue and cool season grasses will need a bigger helping.
How long does this product last?
LAWN PLAY PRONTO is all about fast delivery for fast recovery so it is rapidly absorbed into the plant and can be gone as fast as 2 weeks. So an application should be looked upon as a big boost. For continued feeding and base nutrition it’s best to use a product like Lawn Play All Rounder or the Lawnganics range.
Do I need to do anything else to keep my lawn looking good?
There’s a whole range of things you can do, the basics start with fertilising, weed control and insect protection. We have a calendar and some great packs that help you solve all those problems in one go.
