Lawn Play Aquaturf Wetting Agent

$29.95$99.00

Description
LAWN PLAY AQUATURF is professional quality wetting agent designed to prevent soils from repelling water. So whenever water doesn’t appear to be penetrating the surface this is the perfect time to apply a wetting agent. This is more critical in the growing months but hydrophobicity can also occur during the winter months. We recommend applications start in September as part of your fertilising regime and continue with monthly applications until your final application with pre-emergent herbicide in March.

Add 200 mL to 5-8L of water and apply over 100m2

Features and benefits

It’s a highly concentrated long-chain polymeric wetting agent.
This helps change the way your water interacts with the soil. Soils become hydrophobic when organic acids coat soil particles in a waxy residue, even the thatch on your lawn can become hydrophobic.
LAWN PLAY AQUATURF acts to pull water molecules apart and this reduces the water surface tension, allowing it to connect to the soil.

Want to see how it works? Check out our video here. LAWN PLAY AQUATURF is very simple to use. Simply add 200 mL to 5-8L of water and apply over 100m2 and apply across your lawn, yes you can do your garden also. Once the application is done simply water in with a really good drink.
The product blends into the soil, so a good soaking is critical to success. If applying to fragile garden plants or edible food make sure to apply directly to the soil not the leaf.

We love talking technical so our technical sheet includes even more information or we always enjoy questions.

Q & A

How do I get the best results?
The best way to get results from LAWN PLAY AQUATURF is to apply in Spring and continue on a monthly program. After application be sure to water in well because that’s the best time to get good results. Like any product be sure to apply with a high quality sprayer. The great part about a wetting agent is it can be used to ensure products like pre-emergents get watered in properly and work fantastic with granular fertilisers to ensure you get the best results, the water and fertiliser spread through the soil nice and evenly.

How much water should I apply to water in?
You should follow up with about 15mm of irrigation, the easiest way to measure this is to turn on your sprinkler and leave an empty tuna can out on your lawn, once it’s full then you can move the sprinkler and the can onto the next area.

Is it safe for kids and pets?
The product has a great safety profile, once it’s watered in it’s safe to walk on your lawn. Like most products keep the product container out of reach of children and pets.

Is this safe for all turf types?
It is safe for all turf types. It can be used in the garden, but it is recommended to keep the spray off the foliage of sensitive plants and water in immediately after application. Do not leave on the surface of lawn or plants waiting for rain as the product will burn if not watered in.

How long does this product last?
The longevity will depend on your soil type, location etc., so we recommend an application is followed by a check 30 days later. You will quickly learn if that’s enough, good healthy soils can run out to 60 days while high organic sandy soils will only last about 21 days during Summer.

Do I need to do anything else to keep my lawn looking good?
There’s a whole range of things you can do, the basics start with fertilising, weed control and insect protection. We have a great calendar and some great packs that help you solve all those problems in one go.
