What is Dicamba M?
The product contains 2 powerful active ingredients which gives it broad weed coverage. These are MCPA and Dicamba.
Dicamba is a selective systemic herbicide used to control broadleaf weeds in lawns and turf. It mimics natural plant hormones (auxins), causing uncontrolled growth in weeds—eventually leading to their death.
Once absorbed through leaves or roots, Dicamba travels through the plant’s vascular system, disrupting internal functions. Weeds curl, yellow, and die over 7–14 days.
If your lawn is suffering from stubborn weeds like bindii, clover, oxalis, thistle, or capeweed, Dicamba M provides an effective, affordable solution without damaging your grass.
Why Choose Dicamba M?
Dicamba M is a broadleaf herbicide, many broad leaf weeds in Australia are present during the Winter period, setting seed in early Spring. It’s important to use this before they spread their seeds otherwise you will need it again next year. The ideal time is May to August but can be used any time of the year.
-
Herbicide Type: Systemic and selective
-
Weeds Controlled: Broadleaf weeds only (not grassy weeds)
-

Dicamba is commonly used by turf professionals for consistent results, particularly in warm-season grasses like couch and kikuyu.
