TriCure Ad Wetting Agent
$209.00 – $418.00
Description
Features and Benefits
Upper soil profiles contain varied combinations of soil, sand, thatch and organic amendments. These components interact and influence how water, air and nutrients are received. TriCure AD soil surfactant is formulated to effectively treat all of these soil and organic surfaces, without the risk of excessive water retention.
For best results, TriCure AD applications should begin in early spring, before first signs of heat related stress appear. TriCure AD can also be applied curatively on existing dry areas and LDS.
In warmer climates, application should be year round or when environmental stress conditions begin to impact turf performance. Immediate watering-in is not necessary to prevent burning as TriCure AD is non-phytotoxic. For best results, heavy irrigation is recommended when applying to facilitate movement of chemical into the soil.
Applications can be made monthly or on a seasonal basis (effective approximately three months). Refer to the Spray Application Rates section to determine the appropriate rate. (Note: To maintain an even, optimum surfactant level in the soil, monthly applications are preferable.)
Contains 100% Oxirane 2-methyl polymer with oxirane

Q & A
Q: What is TriCure AD®?
A: TriCure AD® is an advanced, non-phytotoxic wetting agent specifically designed to prevent the development of hydrophobic soil conditions and Localised Dry Spots (LDS) while optimising the use of rain and irrigation water.
Q: How does TriCure AD® work?
A: TriCure AD® is formulated to effectively treat soil, sand, thatch, and organic surfaces, allowing for proper water, air, and nutrient reception. It prevents water-repellent soils, reduces channeling and preferential flow, and eliminates Localized Dry Spots. It also helps prevent water loss due to run-off and reduces excess water retention, leading to more efficient water penetration and uniform distribution of water to the root zone.
Q: When should TriCure AD® applications begin?
A: For best results, TriCure AD® applications should begin in early spring, before the first signs of heat-related stress appear. It can also be applied curatively on existing dry areas and Localized Dry Spots. In warmer climates, application should be year-round or when environmental stress conditions begin to impact turf performance.
Q: What is the recommended application method for TriCure AD®?
A: TriCure AD® can be applied either through spray application or injection via irrigation lines. For spray application, it can be applied monthly or on a seasonal basis, with monthly applications preferred to maintain an even, optimum surfactant level in the soil. When applying via injection, recommended rates are 5 liters per hectare.
Q: Are there any precautions to be taken when using TriCure AD®?
A: Yes, there are precautionary statements that should be followed. Overexposure to TriCure AD® may cause eye irritation, excessive watering, redness, itching, and redness on the skin. It is harmful if swallowed and may cause diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. It is recommended to wear approved eye protection and clothing while handling the product, and keep it out of reach of children. In case of contact, appropriate measures such as washing with water or seeking medical advice should be taken.
Q: How should TriCure AD® be stored and disposed of?
A: TriCure AD® should be stored in an approved facility, out of reach of children or unauthorized personnel. It should be stored in its original container and disposed of according to RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) and all applicable national and local government regulations. Empty containers should be thoroughly rinsed and either recycled, reconditioned, or disposed of according to approved regulations. Reusing empty containers is not recommended.
Q: What are the recommended application rates for TriCure AD® in spray applications?
A: The recommended application rates for TriCure AD® in spray applications are as follows:
- 120 ml per 100 m2 for monthly regular use under normal conditions.
- 180 ml per 100 m2 for monthly application under high-stress conditions and as a curative for Localised Dry Spots (LDS). The first application should be in early spring or when the first signs of heat stress appear.
Q: What benefits does TriCure AD® provide?
A: TriCure AD® offers several benefits, including:
- Preventing the development of water-repellent soils.
- Eliminating Localized Dry Spots.
- Reducing channeling and preferential flow.
- Preventing water loss due to run-off.
- Reducing excess water retention.
- Providing water penetration and uniform distribution of water to the root zone.
- Conserving irrigation water.
- Increasing root mass and length.
