Acelepryn is an effective and practical commercial-grade lawn product that protects against a range of unwanted grubs and caterpillar infestations that could potentially harm your turf. Readily available within The Lawn Shed’s online store, with the easy-to-follow guide for how to use Acelepryn and a bi-annual application, you will see your lawn protected all year round.
How to use Acelepryn
Once you purchase your Acelepryn GR 10kg pack from The Lawn Shed, you simply need to follow these instructions for safe and ultimate protection for your lawn.
Step 1: Measure your area
Before you purchase Acelepryn GR, you should be aware of the amount of lawn that you want to treat. On average, a 10kg bag of Acelepryn GR will cover approximately 666 square metres of grass if applied correctly. Find the square metre of your lawn to determine how much of the product you will need. With resealable and foil-lined packaging, the Acelepryn GR can be stored away easily for future use so you won’t have to worry about having too much.
Step 2: Find the right applicator
Once you’ve received your Acelepryn GR, you’ll need to find a tool to disperse the insecticide evenly. Acelepryn GR is a great product for at-home use as it does not require specialised tools other than a standard fertiliser spreader.
Step 3: Create your mixture
There’s no need to wonder, “how much Acelepryn do I use?” when you can easily follow the instructions on the packet for the ideal rate of granules to be used in your application. As a simple calculation, you need 1.5kg of granules per 100 square metres of lawn, so a 10kg pack should cover your turf over multiple applications.
Step 4: Choose the right time for application
Acelepryn application timing should be considered when you’re treating your lawn. You should not attempt to treat your grass during heavy periods of rain or when the ground is very wet, as too much water may be washed away and reduce its effectiveness. To avoid the need for reapplication and receive the best results, check your local weather forecast to ensure it’s the optimal time to treat your turf.
Step 5: Treat your lawn
Once you have the equipment and products you need and have chosen the right time, you can complete the application of Acelepryn to your lawn. The most important part of each application is an even distribution to ensure that every corner of your lawn is covered and protected.
Should you choose, you can also incorporate a lawn fertiliser into your application of Acelepryn to give your turf a healthy boost at the same time. Once completed, the insecticide will kill off any existing bugs and provide a hostile environment for new grub accumulation for up to 6 months.
Does Acelepryn need to be watered in?
Once you have completed your lawn treatment, you will need to water the solution into the turf. Though Acelepryn does need to be watered in, you should ensure that it is only a light steeping — just enough to embed the insecticide into the soil. The recommended watering level is around 3mm, but if you are using a fertiliser combined with your Acelepryn, you should water up to 5mm.
