Description

Sublime 365 grass seed is a premium quality turf type rhizomatous Tall Fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass seed. There’s no fillers, it’s simply 100% seed.

Oversow at 3kg per 100m or 5kg for new lawn, the 5kg pack can oversow an existing 166m2 lawn or sow a brand new 100m2 lawn.

As cool season grasses Tall Fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass seed should be germinated when the soil temperatures reach above 10 degrees. So for most of us that’s in Spring and Autumn.

The seeding process:
Step 1: Prepare the soil by loosening it up
Step 2: Apply the seed
Step 3: Give the soil a light rake over to slightly bury the seed
Step 4: Water the soil thoroughly and then ensure it remains damp until the seed has germinated
Step 5: Mow once the seed reaches 10cm tall
Step 6: Fertilise after the first mow with LAWN PLAY ALL ROUNDER

Q & A

Why don’t you add fertiliser to your seed blends?
Fertiliser isn’t required for germination, the seed itself has its own food source. We can then apply fertiliser as required.

Should I apply fertiliser as I spread the seed?
No, when germinating seed the climate in the lawn is very wet, the addition of a fertiliser at that point could increase the chances of creating Pythium spp. a disease which wipes out new lawn seed.
